1. Combustion
Hypothesis - The rubbing alchohal will light on fire and make smoke.
Conclusion - After the rubbing alcohol was on the inside of the bottle, it was lit on fire and it shot probably 10 or 15 feet to the side. It also made some sort of a windy blast off sound.
Slideshow - Gases are everywhere. They come out of animals, marshes, forests, fire, and more. The most harmful gas to the environment are green house gases, which take in the suns rays, warms it, and sends it out into space. The amount of gases released raised an insane amount after 2000.
2. CO2 gas
Hypothesis - The gas will catch on fire when it touches the candles.
Conclusion - When the gas came into contact with the fire, it put it out. The reason it put it out, was because the baking soda was in it, it got rid of the oxygen for the flame and it put it out.
Article - When the earth was new, about 80 percent of the atmosphere was CO2. About two billion years ago, the percentage dropped to about 20 or 30 percent, which is still unlivable for humans. As of now, the CO2 is lowering as the oxygen is rising. Ocean warming is a cause of higher CO2 levels in the water, not the other way around.
3. Hydrogen Gas
Hypothesis - The gas will catch on fire for a while.
Conclusion - When the flame hit the gas, it lit on fire and made a popping sound, and like I said in the hypothesis, it stayed lit for a while. Also, I think it would make a good fuel source.
Hydro electricpower article - Hydro power is responsible for providing about 1/5 of the worlds energy source, although theres not much room for expansion of the energy it creates. Even though it may be a renewable resource, it has a pretty big affect on the atmosphere through green house gases.
Hyrdogen - hydrogen is an energy source it is an energy carrier.
Bio fuels - Bio fuels are more damaging to the atmosphere in the overall process of abstaining them than regular fuel.
4. Air pressure 1
Hypothesis - Water vapor will be created and the can will expand.
Conclusion - Nothing happened, it just cooled it down.
Air pressure 2
Hypthesis - The can will expand because the vapor cant escape.
Conclusion - The can shrivled up when the heated can filled with vapor came in contact with the cold water.
